Yesterday evening, one of my friends took my new Samsung phone to check for new features on the device. But he accidentally deleted some photos which were of great importance to me. I just want to know how can I recover photos from Android SD card? Please advise, thanks!

SD card slot has come back to many Android phones like Samsung Galaxy S6, Huawei P9, HTC 10, etc. People store all captured photos, videos, music tracks, contacts and other files on SD memory card. However there are a lot of reasons can cause data loss from Android memory card:

  1. Accidental deletion of all photos that are stored in the SD card when try to remove a single image.
  2. Unintentionally formatting your SD card when connecting your Android device to the computer to transfer files.
  3. Download unsecured apks to your Android SD card.
  4. Affected by virus, lead to crashed system.
  5. When transfer photos from SD card to computer, the Cut and Paste options can also cause deletion of pictures.

Fortunately, there are a lot of useful tools out there. But most important, do not do anything to your memory card once you realize photos have been deleted which means don’t take any more pictures onto the card.
